Dainis Zageris win the WORLD TITLE 2018 in Cozumel – MEXICO
At the World Finals of the MLO Strongman Champions League, the latvian “TITAN” Dainis Zageris won for the 2nd time in his life the overall World title in the World’s Strongest man championships.
He is now the new champion of the World 2018.
In a hot and sunny Cozumel, the beautiful holiday island in Quintana Roo, close to Cancun /Mexico, it was a hard battle of 7 events.
With old school ,really fantastic, “strongmanclassics”, such as the 75 ton Boatpull, Human Wheel Barrow, Husafell stone, Loading medley, Deadlift and Loglift for max, this strongman finals had everything in it what you can wish for.
With a great climax!
Krzystof Radzikowski became second and Aivars Smaukstelis got the bronze medal.
Also a great comeback from Strongman Travis Ortmayer who came 4th place overall, but also took a new world record on the 180 kg Husafell stone, with a distance of 82.40 meter.
A fantastic show for crowd and athletes, and great work from all crew and organisations in cozumel.
